Photograph People and Movement with Mike Will

Join us in-store with Sony Ambassador Mike Will for a photo walk on shooting a BMX model in Central London. 

Accompanied by a professional BMX-er and model, Mike will take you through his photographic process, inclusive of planning and location scouting, gear and technical requirements, and his general workflow. We'll talk through capturing both movements and static portraits. 

This walk will cover:

• Choosing the right gear; travel light, shoot fast and most effectively.
• Composition; know how to light and frame – use your surroundings.
• How to capture movement and people
• Working with a professional model in an urban environment.
• An opportunity to loan & test a Sony kit for this walk*

The Sony Alpha & Xperia team will be present to allow you to get hands-on experience with Xperia and Alpha series products and to answer all your technical questions.

* Limited Sony kits will be available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis. To borrow this equipment, you must have a valid ID. (Driver's License or Passport)

Mike will repeat this session twice on the day; please make sure you only book for one session. This event is supported by Sony.

About Mike Will:

Mike Will is a creative photographer based in the UK, whose compositions include vibrant cityscapes, adventure, travel, and portraits. Mike’s photography journey started in the UK but has taken him all over the world, capturing cities and building global communities, including UK Shooters.

Mike often uses a human element in his images which makes them relatable to the audience. His social presence has grown over the last few years, taking him to new levels with his content creation. From reels to educational posts, Mike has mastered it all. His collaborations with other creatives has broadened his horizons and experiences, with his photography becoming much richer for it.
