Photo Walk | Animal Portraiture with Will Burrard - Lucas | Sony

Join Sony and photographer Will Burrard-Lucas for a hands-on photo walk in Whitechapel. This session is designed to help photographers of all levels explore creative techniques while trying out the latest Sony Alpha cameras and lenses.

Will Burrard-Lucas is known for his work in wildlife photography and for developing tools like the BeetleCam and camera traps. In this session, he will share how he approaches storytelling through photography and how he adapts his techniques to different environments.

What to expect:

The event will begin with a 30–45 minute talk where Will will discuss his photographic process and how Sony technology supports his work. This will be followed by a 1 to 1.5 hour guided walk through Whitechapel and towards Spitalfields City Farm. During the walk, Will will offer practical advice on composition, light, and framing in an urban setting.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try out Sony’s latest Alpha cameras and lenses. Sony experts will be on hand to assist with gear and answer technical questions. Features such as real-time tracking and AI autofocus will be demonstrated in real-world conditions.

This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
