Photowalk | Mastering Low Light Street Photography with Mr. Whisper

Join Mr Whisper as we explore low-light photography along the streets of London. Though widely recognised today, the world-renowned photographer began his journey in the suburbs of South West London. Walk alongside him as he returns to his roots to capture the magic of the River Thames, illuminated by the reflections of a bustling suburb. This is a unique opportunity to refine your photographic skills and see the city through his lens.

What to expect on the day:

The two-hour session will begin with a 20-minute introduction at Wex Putney where Mr. Whisper will share his insights and tips on capturing the essence of the city at dusk. Then, participants will set foot on a 90-minute photo walk around Putney and along the bank of the River Thames, practising techniques and capturing life on the streets of London. The event will conclude with a 10-minute debrief, providing a chance to review and discuss the photos taken during the walk.

• An SD memory card to store your images
• Weather-appropriate clothing and an umbrella
• Water to stay hydrated

Balwinder Bhatla, better known as Mr Whisper, is a visual storyteller, Fujifilm Ambassador, and commercial photographer based in London. With over 10 years of experience, Bal specialises in natural and low-light street photography, capturing everyday moments in and around London.
