Join multi-award-winning photographer Aneesa Dawoojee for a photo walk exploring the intersection of urban art and portraiture. Starting at Wex Fixation in Vauxhall, this walk will take you through vibrant city streets where graffiti, motion, and light come together to tell powerful visual stories.This session is ideal for photographers interested in social documentary, creative portraiture, and experimenting with dynamic environments.
What to expect:
Aneesa will guide you through techniques for capturing expressive portraits and street scenes that reflect the energy and character of the city. You’ll explore how graffiti can serve as a backdrop for social commentary or celebration, and how to work with challenging lighting and movement to create compelling compositions.This is an outdoor-based session, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.

AboutAneesaDawoojee
Aneesa Dawoojee is a South London-based portrait and social-documentary photographer whose work challenges stereotypes and celebrates everyday communities. A fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and associate lecturer at Northampton University, Aneesa has received numerous accolades including the RPS Solo International Photography Exhibition 163 Award.Her work has featured in major campaigns for BBC’s Children in Need, Croydon NHS Trust’s Kindness Campaign, and TNT Sports’ Reframe the Game (2025). Her touring exhibition Only Human was displayed at the Royal Albert Hall, and her other solo shows included March of the Hummingbirds at the Saatchi Gallery.
