Photo Walk | Macro Photography with Paula Wilks | Lensbaby

Join us at Putney for a creative and hands-on photography meet-up led by Lensbaby OMNI expert Paula Wilks and SheClicks. This session is ideal for photographers looking to explore the artistic potential of the OMNI creative filter system. After a short in-store talk and demo, we’ll head out on a guided photowalk where you’ll have the chance to try the gear and capture unique, expressive images.

What to expect on the day:

The event will begin at 11:00am with a warm welcome at the Wex Photo Video Putney store, followed by a presentation from Paula Wilks introducing the Lensbaby OMNI creative filter kits and discussing how they can be used to enhance both standard and macro photography. At 11:45am, Paula will lead a live demonstration, giving attendees a chance to see the OMNI system in action. From 12:00pm, we’ll head out on a photo walk around the local area, where you’ll have the opportunity to try the gear for yourself and capture creative images. The session will wrap up at 1:30pm, with an optional social at a nearby pub.

What you need to bring:

• A DSLR or mirrorless camera
• A lens suitable for creative or macro photography
• Memory cards and fully charged batteries
• Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear

About Paula Wilks:

Paula Wilks is a London-based landscape, nature, and wildlife photographer known for her evocative imagery and creative use of Lensbaby optics. A self-taught artist with a background in science, Paula began her photographic journey as a way to explore the outdoors and has since become a Lensbaby Ambassador. Her work is characterised by a meditative, experimental approach, often incorporating long exposures and the Lensbaby Omni system. Paula regularly shares her insights through talks and workshops, including at SheClicks events, where she inspires others to discover their creative voice through photography.
