Terms and conditions for Paid Wex Events
“Course” refers to any seminar, workshop or event run by Wex Photo Video.
1.1 By registering and paying for a course you agree to the terms and conditions.
1.2 When registering for a seminar or workshop, the attendee is expected to be aware of their current level of competence for that chosen subject. If, during the course, the attendee is found not to be competent enough for the level of tuition, there will be no refund of the cost of the course, and the attendee may be asked to leave.
2. Cancellation by the Attendee
2.1 Cancellation must be made via Eventbrite. If this is not possible for any reason, the attendee should call the Wex Photo Video contact team or email the Events Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations for a full refund can be made no later than seven days prior to the event date. This time is subject to change depending on the type of workshop, so attendees should check details at the time of booking. No refunds can be made during or after an event. If cancellation is deemed necessary after the refund period has passed, the Events Team will attempt to transfer the booking to the next available slot for the same course.
3. Cancellation or Postponement by Wex Photo Video
3.1 Wex Photo Video is entitled to cancel a workshop or seminar if there are insufficient bookings. If a course cannot proceed or has to be delayed, Wex Photo Video will contact attendees as soon as possible prior to the event in question. In the event Wex Photo Video has to cancel a workshop, for any reason, the extent of Wex Photo Video’s liability is limited to the return of the original fees paid.
3.2 Wex Photo Video is entitled to change a course date or other details of the itinerary before an event. The attendee will be informed by email or phone if very short notice.
3.3 Wex Photo Video is entitled to change/replace the course leader due to sickness or any other unforeseen circumstances. We will either replace the unavailable person with another suitable leader, or the course will be cancelled or postponed. In the case of cancellation by Wex, any course fees paid will be refunded or arrangements will be made for an alternative date. Our liability is limited to the return of the original fees paid.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 The full amount must be paid at the point of booking the course. Attendees may pay with most major credit or debit cards.
5.1 All course materials and supporting documentation are copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced or published. Shooting images or video and/or recording sound of a course is only allowed if specific permission is obtained. during of a (part of) a course or training is prohibited. It is also prohibited during the course, or parts, to use software for multiplication and/or make this material available to third parties.
5.2 Any pictures or recordings made by yourself as a direct result of the event are yours to keep as you wish.
5.3 Photos and recordings of courses may be made by Wex Photo Video employees or partners for marketing purposes.
5.4 Parking fees, if any, shall be borne by the attendee.
6.1 All course attendees accept full responsibility for personal injury and/or personal losses during the period of the course.
6.2 Liability for all events run in the store studio space is with the organiser and their public liability should be shown to the store manager when booking.
7. Personal data
7.1 Any personal data required for the booking of courses is collected and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. We do not disclose data to any third parties unless disclosure is necessary for the fulfilment of a service; you have specifically given consent for a particular service; or we have a legitimate interest in disclosing data.
