Join us for an engaging photo walk led by Emmanuel Cole. A renowned street photographer born and raised in East London, Emmanuel will guide you through the vibrant streets of Brick Lane and offer advice on how you can capture its magic. This event focuses on the art of street photography, with an emphasis on how to interact with people and your environment to capture authentic moments.

Highlights of the event:

• Learn how to engage with people on the street to capture authentic moments.

• Practice your skills in a real-world setting with immediate feedback and support.

What to expect on the day:

• The two-hour session will begin with a 30-minute introduction at Wex Photo Video, Whitechapel, where Emmanuel will share his insights and tips on street photography.
• Following this, participants will embark on a 60-minute photo walk around East London, practicing techniques and engaging with the local community. 
• The event will conclude with a 30-minute debrief back at the store, providing a chance to review and discuss the photos taken during the walk.

What you need to bring:

• Where required, cameras will be provided. Please get a form of identification to provide in exchange for the equipment
• An SD memory card to store your images
• Weather-appropriate clothing and an umbrella
• Water to stay hydrated

Emmanuel Cole is a self-taught photographer from East London, known for his compelling street photography that captures the essence of urban life. His work is characterised by its raw, authentic portrayal of the city’s diverse characters and vibrant street scenes.
