Join us in-store for a workshop on the exciting art of food photography with Esther Ling themed for Christmas Food.
Food photography is the art of styling and documentation for commercial or editorial purposes.

Esther will help you understand how to get creative with food photography to advertise your client's incredible creations or the beautiful dinner you made last night. She will begin this workshop by sharing her journey as a creative artist. She will talk through composition, lighting setup and styling techniques in a variety of environments and situations. You will also have the chance to try some of her techniques for yourself. 

The workshop will cover:

• Choosing the right gear and accessories.

• Settings and set up; Rotolight and gel colours.

• How to get the best out of any environment. 

• Creative shooting; style and fulfilling a brief.

About Esther Ling: 

Esther is a self-taught professional photographer and self-confessed technophobe; she started out nineteen years ago shooting weddings & location portraits but now focuses mainly on food photography. A lover of keeping things as simple as possible, with a keen eye for composition, she also styles all of her food shoots.
