Join us for a festive Christmas photo walk led by Linda Koolen, a passionate photographer known for her vibrant street and landscape photography. Linda will guide you through the streets of London, sharing her unique approach to capturing the city’s wintery charm and tips on creating stunning night-time images.

Event Highlights:

  • Learn essential tips for composition, exposure, and focus in low-light situations.
  • Discover techniques for long exposure, capturing light trails, and using reflections creatively.
  • Practise your photography skills in a real-world setting with immediate feedback and support.

What to expect on the day:

  • The five-hour session 
  • 45-minute introduction at the House of Photography, where Linda will share her insights and tips. 
  • Two-hour photo walk around London with a 45-minute break midway to rest and warm up.
  • 30-minute debrief, providing a chance to review and discuss the photos taken during the walk. 
  • Participants will visit iconic Central London locations and practice techniques to capture the festive ambience of the city.

What you need to bring:

  • A camera capable of manual settings
  • An SD memory card to store your images
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes
  • Water and snacks to stay hydrated and energised

About Linda Koolen:

Linda Koolen is a London-based photographer with a passion for street and landscape photography. After studying photography in the Netherlands, she moved to London, where she draws inspiration from the vibrant city life. Linda’s work often explores everyday moments and the beauty of urban landscapes. Her enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge has led her to join the Fujifilm family.
