What to expect on the day:

The two-hour session will begin with a 20-minute introduction where Mr. Whisper will share his insights and tips on capturing the essence of the city at night. Following this, participants will embark on a 80-minute photo walk around Oxford Street and surrounding areas, practising techniques and capturing the festive ambiance of Christmas on the streets of London. The event will conclude with a 20-minute debrief, providing a chance to review and discuss the photos taken during the walk.

What you need to bring:

  • A camera capable of manual settings
  • An SD memory card to store your images
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and an umbrella
  • Water to stay hydrated

About Mr. Whisper:

Balwinder Bhatla, better known as Mr Whisper, is a visual storyteller, Fujifilm Ambassador, and commercial photographer based in London. With over 10 years of experience, Bal specializes in natural and low light street photography, capturing everyday moments in and around London. The Evening Standard describes the Mr Whisper brand as ‘encapsulating London’s most human moments,’ a sentiment that is evident in his images
