Long Exposure Photography

Meet us in-store for a presentation and photo walk on long exposure photography with professional photographer Paul Sanders.

Mindfulness expert Paul Sanders will walk you through his photographic process, inclusive of how to capture long exposures regardless of your location. He will talk through planning and location scouting, gear and technical requirements, and his overall workflow. Paul will advise you on the best settings and techniques for creating beautiful images.

Paul will be on hand to answer questions throughout the session. This talk is supported by 3LeggedThing.

This walk will cover:

•  Location scouting and planning.

• Choosing the right gear, tripod and accessories.

• Long exposure tips and tricks, including composition and framing.

• Being mindful of the moving elements in your frame.

• Balancing light with long exposures.

You will have the option to borrow a tripod on the day but you will need ID to do so.

About Paul Sanders:

Paul Sanders is a fine art photographer and mentor. He is passionate about the benefits of a camera in regard to mental health and mindfulness. Paul has been a professional photographer since 1984, beginning his career in fashion and advertising. He moved into newspapers such as the Daventry Express and News Team International.
