Exhibition Opening | Intersectional Geographies | Martin Parr Foundation

Join us for an evening of photography and performance to mark the opening of our first exhibition of 2022, Intersectional Geographies, a group show curated by Jacqueline Ennis-Cole. The event will begin at 6PM, with a performance at 7PM in the MPF gallery. No ticket is required.

This new exhibition brings together a selection of artists and photographers whose diverse work raises awareness of the complex relationships between the most pressing concerns of our time. Works included touch upon mining, black collar labour, displacement, accountability, and more.

‘Intersectional Geographies advocates for a deeper understanding of multi-faceted overlaps between protecting and sustaining our planet’s ecosystems and the people situated within diverse geographical contexts, whether they be mining communities, rural landscapes, and/or UK home environments… The exhibition asks questions, open dialogue, and stimulates conversations that are representative of our present day climate justice crisis.
