- 1:30 pm | Kevin Mullins | Fujifilm
If you love documentary-style photography, then this talk will inspire you.
Join official Fujifilm X-Photographer Kevin Mullins as he discusses how the Fujifilm X-Series has empowered him to forge a unique style of documentary photography within the Wedding, Street and Social Photography genres. Kevin has been shooting professionally with the X-Series of cameras since 2011 and, in that time, has amassed some 450 weddings. Kevin believes passionately in authentic documentary photography and, to that end, will describe how he shoots candidly and as unobtrusively as possible.
From being an early adopter of the original X100, and a user of almost every Fujifilm camera in between, Kevin now shoots primarily with an X100V, X-Pro3 and GFX100S.
In this talk, Kevin will share with you images he has taken at Weddings, on the Street and Family work over the last ten years – explaining along the way the benefit of mirrorless cameras, the 5W’s recipe for creating a photo story and passing on his knowledge of the trinity of Light, Composition and Moment.

Saturday the 23rd of July
- 12 pm | Kate and Brent Kirkman | Sony
Kate is a second career people photographer specialising in weddings, portraits and boudoir. In recent years she has also added cinematography to her skillset and what lies at the heart of her work is a fascination with how humans love and live. She feels very privileged to be able to capture relationships – whether that is between a couple, a family, a woman with her body and self esteem or even a human and an animal. It is like holding up a mirror to show people on the outside what they feel on the inside. She works side by side with her husband and fellow Sony Europe Imaging Ambassador, Brent Kirkman, as an educator and mentor for Training byLUMIERE and in their destination wedding business. They describe their style as ‘fine art storytelling’ promising to capture natural emotion and human connection in a stylish and creative way. Crafting work that is genuine, beautiful and artistic, that stands out but also stands the test of time.
- 1:30 pm | Saraya Cortaville | Fujifilm
If you love to travel, love photography, love people and wonderful stories, please join Saraya Cortaville an official Fujifilm-X photographer as she shares some images from her extensive travels around the world working with and for various non-government organisations with her Fujifilm kit. Stating with her first mirrorless camera, the X-T2, and moving now to the X-T4.
For the last 7 years, Saraya has documented images for various charities with an aim to promote and educate the amazing work that they do all over the world in some very remote and difficult-to-access locations.
Saraya's style of photography is natural and authentic with the aim to provide an honest and real documentary of the villages in which she is based sometimes for months.
From Tanzania to Nicaragua and from Madagascar to Mustang and many others, Saraya will share a selection of her favourite stories and images she has been lucky enough to capture along the way. Explaining how she approaches the brief and why she feels that the Fujifilm gear that she uses is the perfect one for her documentary-style travel portraits.
When not abroad, Saraya shoots primarily location portraiture specialising in children and documentary weddings.
