  • Seminars by Peter Neill, Matt Thompson and Alan Hewitt

Plus, our key brands present will be showcasing their flagship products, including the Canon R3, Nikon Z9, Sony A1, A7IV, Fuji GFX system and more.

In addition, we are delighted to have the Wild Arena | Canon team in our store with us on both days. A small group of experienced professionals with a long-standing background in the photography and animal industries. The whole team have a passion for photography and animals and passing on their knowledge to inspire other photographers.

They will have a professionally lit macro set up with some exotic insects, and this would be great for trying macro lenses like the new Canon RF 100/2.8. And to learn the new focus bracketing features of bodies like the R6, R5 and R3.

Why don’t you come and use this excellent opportunity to test and learn about macro and animal photography?

His numerous clients include Queen, Justin Timberlake, The Script, U2, Will.I.am, Sony, Colombia Records, Epic Records, Ennio Morricone, Gary Barlow, Billboard magazine & many more.

"Live photographers seem to be a dime a dozen until you are actually touring and you see how bad the pictures end up being. We really wanted some Epic shots of our shows the way we see them."

"Peter Neill is the strongest Photographer we have found yet. We simply don't use anyone else anymore."

- Mark Sheehan, The Script.

  • 1:30 pm | Matt Thompson | Fujifilm

Matt Thompson is a wedding and event videographer, specialising in the creative capture of raw, spontaneous moments without directing or interfering with the scene.

Matt will be exploring his approach to filmmaking, breaking down each section of a wedding day from morning to night and explaining what he looks to capture, the choices he makes, the techniques he adopts, and his reasons for choosing Fujifilm X-Series cameras (including the new X-H2S) for filmmaking and how all of these elements combine to place the viewer right at the heart of the action.

Matt Thompson, filmmaker and associate of York Place Studios has been actively working to create evocative visual imagery and soundscapes since the age of thirteen.

This started backstage in the theatre but switched to filmmaking six years ago when Matt decided it was time to create his own stories, picked up a camera and switched his focus from theatre to film.

That theatrical background still runs through his work today with careful attention paid to the individuality of each story, subplot and character; a firm focus on fun and entertainment and, as you’d expect, exacting standards when it comes to the recording and creation of soundtracks in his films.
