Friday the 17th of June

Mick is the founder of the Miki Studios, a Wedding imagery team comprising Mick and Ash. They take a boutique approach to wedding storytelling, travelling extensively throughout the UK and internationally to create content that sweeps couples off their feet. They strive to deliver lush and compelling stories, capturing each important moment in their unique creative style, which blends documentary with portraiture to create an emotional and energetic hook. They are friends, fathers and adventurers that seek to bring their passion for life into everything they do, which inevitably leads to deeper client connections and creates a friendly and fun-filled working environment. They need equipment and tools that allow them to work seamlessly to bring their ideas to life. For them, Sony has consistently delivered on that front - whether pushing the boundaries of the cameras and what they can offer to lenses that not only provide beautifully rendered imagery but just work time and time again.

Scott Johnson FBIPP FSWPP Master Photographer is an Internationally recognised, award-winning photographer and has photographed weddings across Europe and the United States. Known for being fun and energetic, Scott also travels the world as an educator and mentor.

One of the few photographers to achieve a Fellowship in Wedding Photography with the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) since 1901 and one of only a handful that’s earned a Fellowship in two separate fields, his second being in Documentary Photography. He also holds a Fellowship with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). A former winner of the MPA Wedding album of the Year (2015 & 2016), and in 2018, he was awarded ‘Master Photographer’ with the SWPP and won ‘Wedding image of the Year’ with The Guild of Photographers.

Scott will outline his wedding day techniques and provide crucial insights to help capture unforgettable moments during this talk. He will go over his system and how he creates the images he does on the spot. In addition, he will discuss several critical characteristics that have helped his company gain more awareness by encouraging clients to print photographs from the beginning of the booking process.

Scott has been shooting three weddings with a pre-production X-H2S and will reveal how Fujifilm's game-changing X-Trans V sensor has significantly enhanced his workflow and shooting abilities.

For over three decades, Canon Ambassador Eddie Keogh has been at the forefront of sports photojournalism in the UK, having shot thousands of images from a huge range of sporting disciplines for the world's daily papers.

Eddie is the official photographer via Getty Images for the England football team and also works for England Rugby's main sponsor, O2. "It's an honour to work with the England football team and such an interesting insight into what goes on behind the scenes," he says. "They have been really friendly, open to new ideas and very professional in their responsibility to their game. Both teams play with passion and that endeavour comes through in the photographs. Whether that's a flying tackle in rugby or a diving header in football, there's always a chance of a great sports picture."

Join Photographer, Educator, YouTuber and Best-Selling Author and the founder and photographer of the 39-45 Portraits Project, Glyn Dewis, as he takes us through how as a Portrait Photographer, when unable to take portraits because of the Covid 19 Pandemic, trying other genres of photography not only kept a camera in his hands but in his own admission, has helped him to become a BETTER Photographer.

Fujifilm X-Photographer and Arri Lighting Ambassador Wayne Johns has been a Fashion, Beauty & Advertising Photographer for over 25 years. Wayne is best known for his crisp and emotive imagery, gaining international recognition as a 'master of lighting techniques and his artistic approach to both stills and moving images. Wayne's clients include Vogue, Marie Claire, Nike, Coca Cola, L’oreal, Channel 4, and the BBC, to mention a few.

In his talk, Wayne will be taking you on a visual journey showing you how the X series and GFX series cameras have been such an important and reliable system for all his commercial work, which prompted his change to the Fujifilm systems nearly 10 years ago. He will talk about how you can take better portraits by unlocking your creativity process by using some simple tools. Wayne will be taking you through different lighting types and their setups, sharing some lighting diagrams to show you that lighting doesn’t have to be complicated to achieve good results.
