Join Wex Photo Video and Leica for a special in-store event designed for Leica users, photography enthusiasts and anyone curious about experiencing the Leica system first-hand.

Taking place on Wednesday 10th June 2026 in our Newcastle store, this relaxed and inspiring day gives you the opportunity to meet a Leica expert in-store, explore the latest Leica cameras and lenses, ask questions, and discover what makes Leica such an iconic name in photography.

Whether you already shoot with Leica or are considering making the move, this is the perfect chance to get hands-on with selected Leica kit, discuss your photography needs with an expert, and learn more about the cameras, lenses and creative approach behind the brand.

As a bonus, we’ll also be hosting an afternoon photo walk, giving attendees the chance to take selected Leica equipment out of the store and put it to the test in a real-world environment. It’s a great opportunity to experience Leica handling, image quality and creative potential while shooting alongside other photographers.

Afternoon Leica Photo Walk

In the afternoon from 2pm - 4.00pm, attendees will have the opportunity to join a guided photo walk, designed to give you practical time with selected Leica equipment outside of the store.

This is ideal for anyone who wants to experience Leica cameras in a real shooting environment, from street photography and detail shots to portraits, architecture and everyday moments.

Places on the photo walk may be limited, so early booking is recommended.

Leica equipment available to test is subject to availability on the day. Photo walk spaces may be limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own SD card if you would like to review your images afterwards.
