• 12:00 - 13:00 Dylan Nardini | Sponsored by Wex

My Outdoor Office. An inspiring talk on the craft, patience and persistence behind creating meaningful outdoor images.

With over 30 years’ experience in photography, Dylan has focused on the landscape since 2014, capturing both his local surroundings and the wider Scottish and UK landscape. In this seminar, he will explore the work that goes into turning the image you imagine in your head into a finished photograph, from planning and persistence to reacting to light, weather and location.

Dylan will also discuss the different tools he uses to tell his stories outdoors, from the reliability of the Nikon D850 to the character of medium format film, the precision of the Leica Q3, and the portability of compact cameras such as the Sony RX100 II. Each camera has its own charm, purpose and place in the creative process.

• 14:00 - 15:00 Daniel Murray | Sponsored by Wex

Street photography made practical: Daniel Murray shares mindset, settings and composition tips for stronger shots on the street.

Street photography looks simple; point, shoot, walk away with a great shot. It isn't. In this seminar, Daniel Murray, Sony Youth Photographer of the Year 2024, breaks down what actually separates a snapshot from a strong street photograph: the mindset of hunting versus fishing for a moment, the camera settings he relies on to never miss a shot, and the compositional habits that turn a chaotic street into a clean frame. Expect practical takeaways you can use the next time you're out with your camera, whatever you shoot.

• 15:00 - 16:00 Ian Sayers | Sponsored by Wex

From Stills to Motion.

Photographers already know more about video editing than they think. Many of the skills used every day in photo editing, from colour, contrast and cropping to layers, sequencing and visual storytelling, can translate naturally into video workflows.

Join Ian Sayers for a practical and reassuring session designed to help photographers take their first steps into video editing with confidence. Ian will show how familiar Photoshop skills can translate directly into Adobe Premiere Pro, and how workflows in Affinity and Capture One can provide a strong foundation for moving into DaVinci Resolve.

This session is ideal for photographers who want to start creating video content but feel unsure where to begin. By connecting familiar stills-editing techniques with video-editing tools, Ian will make the move from still images to motion feel simple, logical and accessible.

Perfect for photographers, content creators and hybrid shooters looking to expand their creative workflow.
