Our in-store roadshow brings together leading camera brands and accessory manufacturers, including Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, DJI, Hasselblad, Sigma, Wacom and more, giving you the chance to explore the latest cameras, lenses, accessories and imaging technology all in one place.

Throughout the day, you’ll be able to meet brand experts, get personalised buying advice, ask technical questions and discover practical shooting tips to help you get more from your kit. There will also be live demonstrations on the shopfloor, showcasing the latest gear and giving you the chance to see key products in action.

Join Glyn Dewis on the shopfloor, throughout the day for No Studio, No Problem: Classic Portraits with Minimal Kit, a practical session showing how to create timeless, professional-looking portraits without a studio, expensive lighting or a van full of gear.

Glyn will demonstrate how he builds his signature classic portraits using minimal kit in a limited space, from choosing the right equipment and setting up the light, through to working with a subject in front of the camera.

Alongside the hands-on experience, we’ll also be hosting a programme of guest speaker seminars and brand talks from professional photographers, filmmakers and industry specialists. These sessions are designed to inspire, educate and help you take your photography or filmmaking further.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your kit, try something new, learn from the experts or simply enjoy a day surrounded by photography, this is the perfect opportunity to visit your local Wex store.

Exclusive offers will be available on the day for attending customers. Not to be missed!

Talk schedules:

• 10:00 - 11:00 Cat Race | Sponsored by Wex

Light up your vision: The power of self belief in photography & off camera flash.

Blending two powerful themes — self-belief and off-camera flash — Cat will explore how confidence can transform the way you approach photography. For many photographers, adding artificial light can feel intimidating or overly technical, but this session is designed to show that it is far more achievable than it first appears.

Cat will share her own experience of learning to work with off-camera flash, overcoming the initial overwhelm and developing a “can do” attitude towards lighting. Through practical insight and encouragement, she will help you see how artificial light can open up new creative possibilities and give you greater control over your images.

Whether you have always wanted to try off-camera flash, feel nervous about using lighting, or simply need a boost of confidence in your photography, this talk will inspire you to take the next step and light up your creative vision.

Ian will show how familiar Photoshop skills can translate directly into Adobe Premiere Pro, and how workflows in Affinity and Capture One can provide a strong foundation for moving into DaVinci Resolve.

This session is ideal for photographers who want to start creating video content but feel unsure where to begin. By connecting familiar stills-editing techniques with video-editing tools, Ian will make the move from still images to motion feel simple, logical and accessible.
