Focus Stacking Fundamentals
In this talk and practical demonstration, Stewart Wood will guide photographers through the fundamentals of focus stacking for macro photography using OM System cameras.
The session will cover how in-camera focus stacking works, when to use it, and how it differs from focus bracketing for more advanced, high-end stacked images. Stewart will explain the key settings, common mistakes, subject choice, lighting considerations, and practical techniques needed to create sharper, more detailed macro photographs.
The talk will include a practical demo showing how Stewart sets up and captures a focus stack, making this session ideal for photographers who want to get more from their OM System camera and improve their close-up photography workflow.
