Join us in-store for a Macro photography workshop with the professional photographer and OM-System ambassador Geraint Radford.

“Macro photography is transformative, enjoyable, and one of the most accessible photographic genres as it enables us to photograph anything-anywhere; attaching a macro lens allows us to discover a hidden world that exists all around us and capture beautiful, close-up images.” Says Geraint.

Geraint will begin this workshop by sharing his experience as a creative artist and teaching you about equipment choices, technical settings and how to develop your vision and skills.

The workshop will explore the depth of field, lighting, composition, and focus stacking techniques. You’ll have a chance to shoot alongside Geraint, ask questions, and practice new methods in a comfortable, interactive, pressure-free indoor setting.

The workshop will cover:

• Creatively observing details
• Depth of field & Composition
• Gear and benefits of shooting OM-System.
• Setting up & Lighting
• Highlighting & enlarge details
• Basic correction in post-production

About Geraint Radford:

Geraint is a professional macro photography and OM System ambassador based in South Wales, UK. As a self-confessed nature-lover, Geraint has built a career about his passion for the natural world. He’s featured in many photography magazines and books and worked with the BBC.

Geraint places high value on teaching and has spoken at the Photography Show NEC, Wales & West Photography Show, and numerous photography clubs where he enjoys chatting about all things macro. He enjoys lecturing at UWTSD Carmarthen's Adventure Film Making Course and leading various workshops where he gets to help people learn new skills to explore the macro world.
