From the Sidelines: My Journey to Becoming Newcastle United’s Club Photographer

Join Serena Taylor, Club Photographer for Newcastle United FC, for an inspiring talk about her personal journey into professional football photography.

Serena will share where her story began, from where she grew up and the work she did before joining Newcastle United, through to the experiences that helped shape her career behind the camera. Starting with the club in 2004 as an assistant photographer, Serena built her skills across a wide range of photographic work before eventually returning to Newcastle United after several years working casually and part-time while raising her children.

Now, having spent the past 10 years as Club Photographer, Serena will offer a fascinating insight into the path that led her to the role, the experience she gained along the way, and what it takes to build a career photographing life at one of the country’s most iconic football clubs.

A brilliant session for anyone interested in sports photography, career journeys, storytelling and life behind the lens.
