Composition and Shapes with Sean Tucker | Manchester

Join Wex and award-winning street photographer Sean Tucker for an exclusive photo walk demonstrating the new Ricoh GR camera system.

This half-day event will be a live street photography session around Manchester's city centre.

Sean focuses on creating strong, graphic images on the street using exposure techniques to capture high-contrast images. Composition becomes key as he plays with the shapes cast by the shadows in our cities. Sean will show you his approach to photographing manually with the Ricoh GR, his techniques for compositions and his approach to editing on the go using his mobile phone.

About Sean Tucker:

Sean Tucker is a Photographer, Filmmaker, Author and Speaker based in the UK. Over his career, he's been fortunate to tell visual stories for individuals, NGOs and big multinational corporations across more than 20 countries with meaningful messages. He's also helped organisations set up in-house studios and trained them to tell compelling visual stories.

In more recent years, he picked up street photography and began a popular YouTube channel where he sought to inspire other creatives. He's written and published a book sharing his philosophy for the creative life called "The Meaning in the Making."
