Talk schedules:

• 10:00 - 11:00 Damien Demolder | Sponsored by Wex

Building A Street Picture

In this new talk Damien explains how he breaks the world into visual components, and how he uses those ideas and concepts to focus his and the viewer’s attention in the street photography that he creates. Of course decisive moments matter, as do the stories behind each human interaction, but we can’t convey any form of message in our pictures unless people look at them. Surely our first step must be to make sure what we show is eye-catching and exciting.

• 11:00 - 12:00 Jack Lodge | Sponsored by Canon

Chasing Light in Wild Places

Join Jack Lodge for an inspiring photographic journey through the landscapes, wildlife and night skies that make the natural world so captivating.

Showcasing some of his favourite season-themed projects, Jack shares the stories, techniques and fieldcraft behind his work. From chasing dramatic weather across the landscape and waiting patiently for elusive wildlife to capturing the wonders of the night sky, this talk covers it all. Packed with tips on planning, composition, camera settings and enjoying the wonders of the great outdoors, you'll hopefully leave feeling inspired and motivated to plan your next adventure!

• 12:00 - 13:00 Denisa Illie | Sponsored by Wex

Two Sides of the Lens: Commercial Briefs and Personal Projects.

In this talk, Denisa Ilie explores the balance between commercial and personal work in her photography practice — and what that means for the way she shoots.

Denisa will take us through how her creative approach shifts depending on the brief, from client-driven commercial commissions to the freedom of personal projects. A key focus will be how these two worlds influence her equipment choices, exploring why the gear that works best for a polished commercial shoot doesn't always translate to her more personal work, and vice versa.

• 14:00 - 15:00 SONY Community Talks | Sponsored by SONY

Discover SONY Alpha: Cameras, Lenses & Technology Explained.

Join Sony for a dynamic 30-minute introduction to the Sony Alpha system. This informal session, hosted by a Sony Community Manager, will provide an overview of the latest cameras and lenses, highlighting standout capabilities such as fast, intelligent autofocus, high-speed burst shooting, and the exceptional image quality delivered by G Master optics. Whether you’re new to Sony or looking to expand your kit, this is a great opportunity to learn about the system, discover key technologies, and ask questions in a relaxed setting.

• 15:00 - 16:00 Luke Davis | Sponsored by Fujifilm

Looks of the past, power of the present.

Fujifilm’s legacy in film photography has shaped some of the most iconic colours in visual history. This seminar explores how that heritage lives on today through Fujifilm’s Film Simulations, bringing timeless aesthetics into modern digital workflows.
