It is that time of year again where, here at Wex, we celebrate the female photographers we work with throughout the year by hosting one action-packed day in 13 locations all around the UK at the same time. Our Women in the Industry series features female photographers, videographers and editors covering all genres, showcasing the incredible work that they do and taking a step forward for equality.
Commercial photographer Emma Drabble presents a workshop on creative portrait photography to help you grow your portfolio and develop your studio skills.

As a grass-roots documentary photographer, portraiture is a huge component in Emma’s work. Whether working on commissioned projects on location such as the current Our Living Levels or working with her commercial clients on high-end portraits in the studio, Emma is an adaptable and variable professional photographer.
With an extensive documentary photography background having trained in Marseille the 80’s, her communicative style of editorial work helps any client tell their story.
Emma changed from DSLR kit and now works with Lumix S1R, G9 and GH5 as Pro kit. Emma is a Panasonic Ambassador and Getty contributor.
You will need:
Emma is a commercial professional photographer, working in both corporate and private commissions. Practising as a working photographer for 30 years with a background in documentary photography, portraiture has been a defining element in her work on location and the studio. With a strong ability to create narrative in her work, she helps clients tell their stories.
Emma contributes to local and national publications and shares her passion for photography through speaking and teaching. Emma is a Panasonic Ambassador and works with Lumix S1R, G9 and GH5 as Pro kit.
