Wildlife Photography Masterclass with Tom Mason - London (28/06)
Friday 28th June, 10am – 5pm
Starting in our London store, Tom will talk you through the major principles of wildlife photography, before delving into the ideas and techniques behind creative wildlife photography.
Tom will explain the narrative behind his work, alongside how he locates his subjects, to give you an understanding of where to start and how to achieve the best photographs. With a relaxed feel, you’ll be able to ask questions and explore topics as you go along, to ensure you get the most out of the day.
After lunch, the afternoon session will take the form of a walk out to Regents Park for a hands-on look at how he creates his images.
On location, the principles from the morning session will be applied. Tom will share his thoughts on how to frame images for commercial use, giving you an insight into working on wildlife projects for magazines and other publications. Of course with wildlife being uncontrollable, we cannot guarantee what you will see, however the day is aimed to kit you up with the advice and skills you need to make better wildlife photography on your own in future.
You will need:
- Your DSLR/mirrorless camera
- 200mm lens (zoom lens will also be sufficient)
- Memory card and spare battery
- Appropriate outdoor clothing
- Images of your own
