The UPR foundation is thrilled to organise the first Urban Photo Race in London this coming September and is challenging the best street snappers to produce 18 images over 12 hours. UPR has already being running for several years in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and last year Berlin. We challenge you to interpret set themes, sometimes cryptic, sometimes simple, passing carefully located check points with a fresh eye and open spirit!
Photographer Camila Cavalcante will then provide the key lecture discussing the history, styles and ethics of street photography. Camila holds a degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Alagoas, a post-graduate degree in Journalism and Cultural Criticism from the Federal University of Pernambuco, and a Masters of the Arts degree from University of Westminster, London. Currently Camila teaches street photography at The London School of Photography.
UPR will then introduce the Jury and their work, continuing the discussion and themes highlighted by Camilla.

The discussion will then be opened and up to the floor and break out into networking to conclude the event at 6.30pm. The UPR foundation will provide attendees with a complimentary non-alcoholic drink. Stay tuned for further updates on an exclusive offer for event attendees.
