This full day workshop is designed for confident DSLR / CSC users who would like to expand their skills shooting modern architecture and interiors, applying them to the distinctive Library building in Birmingham.
Martine, who is one of the UK’s foremost architectural photographers, will take you through a presentation where she will outline all the theory behind getting those crisp shots of modern architecture, and you’ll have an opportunity to ask any questions you have. She will explain how a pro can tackle modern architecture to showcase the structure, form, and lighting of buildings, go over the use of tripods and lenses, using long exposures, and styling images to create mood and atmosphere.
You’ll then go out for a practical workshop guided by Martine to capture both interior and exterior shots around the Library and Birmingham City Centre.
In terms of kit we recommend bringing:
Teas, coffees, and a light lunch will be provided.
