Wex Workshop: Creative Professional Photography with Leo Francis and Interfit Photographic
Saturday 7th April
Morning Session: 11am - 1pm
Leo will discuss how to approach a wide variety of shoots including how to create hard, soft and diffused light and how it effects your subject. There will be hands-on shooting with a variety of creative lighting set-ups and the Interfit lighting system including the S1 and the Honey Badger Strobe.
Put your knowledge from Leo's talk into creating powerful and dynamic images using professional studio lighting, modifiers and a professional model on the day!
Afternoon Session: 2pm - 4pm
Leo will introduce gels to add colour for his shoots with dramatic results! There will be a discussion aroud colour theory and how to get the best from your gels.
Colours can dramatically alter the way we react to an image- adding drama, suspense, happiness and even sadness. Learn how to utilise this through your studio lighting and work with blending coloured light with gels for creative effect in this hands-on lighting workshop with Interfit Photographic Creative Pro Leo Francis and the Interfit Lighting System.
Leo Francis is a Red Bull Photographer, Art director, Wakeboarder, Snowboarder, runner and BBQer.
Leo has been a professional photographer for over 10 years and in that time has won multiple awards with the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the British Press Association. He has worked with and been featured by: Red Bull, Mystic Wetsuits, Merrel shoes, X Blades, Hull City of Culture 2017, Runners World Magazine, The Telegraph, Hybrid Wake Magazine, Alliance Wake Magazine, DJ magazine, Mix Mag, to name a few.
He is known for his powerful portraits, dynamic sports shots and approaching every project he works on with enthusiasm and a fresh perspective
