Wex Walkabout: Street Photography with Jeremy Sugars and Olympus
Wednesday 20th February 2019, 10:00-12:00 OR 13:00-15:00
Join Olympus Expert Jez Sugars for a street photography walk around the beautiful South Western city of Bristol – a destination that combines classic charm with inspiring modernity. Although very much a contemporary city, Bristol’s history stretches back thousands of years; thus providing an eclectic mix of buildings and heritage to train your camera’s lens on.
You’ll have opportunity to get hands on with the latest Olympus camera gear and lenses, including the OM-D E-M1 Mark II. During the photowalk, Jez will be demonstrating the OM-D E-M1 Mark II’s unique features, including ND with LiveTime, Art Filters, and In-camera stacking.
Whether you’re new to photography or already a keen enthusiast, our photowalk experience will provide inspiration and creativity in spades.

Primarily being a documentary street photographer, Jeremy is interested in the presenting of a narrative, and capturing the environment in its most interesting moment. All his images are an idea or 2D rendering of a decisive moment.
With an interest in the human spirit and what it means to be alive now, Sugars comes from an artist back ground of photography painting drawing and writing, where he lives in cycles of expression within the different mediums.
Photography shows Sugars the need for compassion. Not only for humans and animals, but also for landscape, structures and change. He feels there is something very spiritual and mindful about breathing with the environment you are in and focusing on the details of the frame very much keeps you in the “now”.
