Wedding album design | A Fundy workshop

Professional wedding photographers Robert Pugh and Kate Hopewell-Smith teach you how Fundy Designer can help you create beautiful wedding albums and save you time too.
This workshop is aimed at professional wedding photographers and anyone who produces albums on a frequent basis.
The workshop will cover:
- What Fundy Designer does and who it’s for
- How it fits into your workflow
- How to design an album; start to finish
- Exploring the Auto Design feature
- Tips and tricks for faster designing
- Using Fundy Designer to create marketing material (studio magazines) and wall art
You will need:
- Your laptop with the free trial version of Fundy Designer installed (download from: https://fundydesigner.com/downloads/)
- A selection of 20-40 images for creating your trial album
We will take you through the various stages of creating an album for clients as well as how Fundy Designer can help you market your business and sell more. You’ll also get to try the software for yourself with guidance from Robert and Kate.
About the experts
Robert Pugh is an award-winning international wedding and portrait photographer located in Reading, Berkshire, but covering weddings from the UK to the golden sands of the Caribbean. He has over ten years of experience as a full-time photographer, running a successful business and covering over 480 weddings to date.
At present, Robert also works alongside some of the top photographic brands and manufacturers including Sony, Rotolight, TetherTools, Fundy and Lensbaby. He has been recognised for his work with awards, presentations and publications.
Kit-guru Angela began reviewing cameras and photographic gear in early 2004. Since then she’s been Amateur Photographer’s Technical Editor and Head of Testing for TechRadar and Future Publishing’s extensive photography portfolio. She’s now part of the team behind Camera Jabber (www.camerajabber.com), a website built for photographers by photographers with reviews, news, tips and techniques, and she recently founded SheClicks, a community for female photographers.
Angela has tested everything from straps to backpacks, compacts to medium format cameras and software to hard drives. But she’s not just interesting in kit, she loves taking photos, experimenting with new techniques and helping other photographers get more from their gear.
Kate Hopewell-Smith has a background in TV marketing, fine art publishing and brand consultancy. She has run her photography business specialising in portraits, weddings and boudoir since 2010 (www.katehopewellsmith.com) and represents Sony as a European Imaging Ambassador. She is also a director of both the photography school Training byLUMIERE (www.trainingbylumiere.co.uk) and luxury destination brand byLumiere (www.bylumiere.co.uk).
