The 2020 SWPP convention is a veritable feast of education, with four days of action packed programmes designed to help you put your imagery ahead of the game. The three day Trade Show spanning the Thursday to Saturday is a gathering of the who’s who in the photographic industry, with the ‘big guns’ present and eager to show you the latest in technology and design.

This year, we have teamed up with ChromaLuxe and advertising guru, director, artist and photographer, Carl Warner to present you with an incredible exhibition of his stunning works; created from food, house-hold materials and bodies. The exhibition will be on display throughout the convention and there will be experts on hand to speak to from ChromaLuxe and Wex Photo Video.

The experts:

ChromaLuxe is the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-definition sublimatable photo panels. The combination of colour brilliance, superior durability and archival qualities makes ChromaLuxe the perfect choice for image reproduction. Using dye sublimation, ChromaLuxe provides high-definition, durable photo panels that will preserve images for generations to come. Instead of printing images directly on a surface, which may scratch easily, the image is infused into the coating to provide permanent protection.

Carl Warner

Carl has a passion for creating and making images from things that most people would not take a second look at. He loves finding pictures and beauty in the mundane and the banal. In creating landscapes from the contents of his fridge or building cities from sea shells or car parts, he is more of a photographic illustrator who creates something from nothing, transforming one thing into another by simply composing and lighting.

Most of his working life as a photographer has been spent working in the advertising world where creative solutions and problem solving have always been a challenging and exciting part of the job. With many years of experience accumulated these factors still play a large role in the process, but often lead to the creation of something amazing.
