Summer of Sport | A discussion with Marc Aspland
Saturday 14th December, 4:00pm – 6:00pm
A discussion around the summer of sport, ranging from Wimbledon Championships to Cricket World Cup Final and The Ashes.
Marc will discuss what goes into making his work, from what his sports editor expects him to capture; the winning serve at Men's Final or winning wicket during an Ashes Test to being pushed to the limits; summing up a four day test match and an 80 minute rugby match with a single photograph that tells the whole story.
By 'seeing' things differently and always looking for the unusual, quirky, off-beat shot, Marc’s techniques have seen him published in The Times and other publications. He will talk about what skills he uses and the technical aspects of those photographs.
