Edo Zollo is an award-winning photographer from London. He focuses on street life in London after hours. His work primarily focuses on capturing a moment in time, be it portraiture, lifestyle imagery or perfectly placed lighting. Always experimenting with new techniques, he works with both analog and digital cameras.

In this workshop, you will cover:

  • The differences between lenses and the perfect lens to use for street photography
  • An introduction to what actually defines night-time street photography
  • Top tips and suggestions on how to prepare yourself (mentally and psychologically)
and your camera, for the relentless feat of observation; street photography.
  • Getting an extended opportunity to shoot night-time photography for two hours.
  • Learning how to spot the right light, location and subject.
  • Receiving intelligent and experienced responses to your work, including – the toughest bit of all – constructive criticism

This course is for those who:

  • Are familiar with your basic camera settings such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO, and comfortable using your camera in manual.
  • Have a fascination with people and the way they/we interact with each other and our environment.
  • Are passionate about photography. This course studies images that have an enduring intellectual and emotional impact.
  • Have some familiarity with street photography
  • Feel naked if you leave the house without a camera around your neck!

Afterwards, we will head over to a nice pub in the local area for anyone interested.

You will need:

- Your DSLR, mirrorless or analog camera

- Lenses

- Film or memory card

- Spare battery

- Feel free to bring beers for the road!
