Photographing Historic Buildings - Masterclass with Martine Hamilton Knight
Thursday 30th August, 10.30am-4.30pm
Meeting at: Norwich Cathedral
Join Martine this summer at Norwich Cathedral for the day, learning about shooting architecture.
We begin with a classroom briefing which looks at the technicalities of photographing architecture, both modern and historic before tackling this stunning historic building. Expect to learn about the challenges which face an architectural photographer, with regard to lighting, styling, working with models and using perspective control lenses.
With an opportunity to shoot inside and out, we shall explore this stunning historic building as Martine guides you through the multiple imaging opportunities which are around the cathedral and its precincts.
Photographers with an interest in shooting buildings and a solid knowledge of their kit will enjoy this day, but those with smaller cameras and less experience will also pick up oodles of tips and go home with some super shots. If you have a tripod, please do bring it, plus a variety of lens focal lengths for best results. You may also like to bring a notebook and pen to the session.
