Discovering, visualising and sharing the stories that live inside us all is why Jade does what she does. As a self-shooting branded content and campaign producer, she works across all aspects of a production to give an authentic voice, to original stories that matter.
Jade is the Co-Founder of Beard Askew Productions and a Content Producer for Create, CNN International's branded content studio. She intends to bring new perspectives, insights and heart - to the subject matters and audiences that she is exploring.
Filmmaking has taken Jade to locations all over the world creating content for a range of clients and formats, with her work flowing directly into the news and feature queues of the biggest newspapers and magazines. Jade has also set up Film in Education Workshops, to help young people learn the craft and use film as a tool to communicate and make positive change.
Sam is a freelance DOP/Lighting cameraman, with 15 years’ experience in the camera department starting out as a camera assistant. He has worked on a variety of projects across promos, brand films, broadcast and documentaries. His clients include Red Bull, Formula One, BBC, 4Music, Vice, KTM, Channel 4, Relentless and Disney.
Simon brings 7 years of professional industry experience as a Colourist, DOP/ Camera Operator and Editor to this Masterclass. Simon has worked with numerous production companies in a variety of places, including; The Leith Agency, Freakworks Post Production (Edinburgh), Tanami, STV, Commoner, Fizz Farm and York Studio Post Production studios (all Melbourne-based companies.)
He has worked on campaigns for companies including Royal Bank of Scotland, National Museum of Scotland, Thomas the Tank Engine, High Focus Records, Golden Era Records, Dalmore, Scottish Leader, amongst others.
Before working in this industry, Simon was a music producer and released a total of 4 albums that toured and DJ'd around the world, so his experience of the creative industry is second to none.
