Music Photography with Live Band, Bridges – Masterclass with Peter Neill and Sony

Thursday 5th July, 9:30am – 4pm
9:30am – Arrival and networking with Sony, Peter Neill and the band; refreshments will be provided.
10am - Sony introduction; Peter Neill will then do a short presentation on himself and how he began working in the industry.
11am - Hand out kit; every customer will be provided with a Sony camera for the event.
11:30am – 12:30pm - Live band demo with an opportunity to get hands on with your Sony gear, led by Peter Neill.
12:30pm -1:30pm - Lunch
1:30pm – 3:00pm - Live band demo led by Peter Neill, inclusive of a commercial studio photography session with the band. You will be able to try out photographing for CD covers and adverts. Peter will be on hand to help improve your techniques and answer your questions.
3:00pm -4:00pm - Printing of the images taken and a short summary from Peter Neill.
Sony cameras and lenses will be provided at the event alongside discounts and a free memory card for those attending! Join us and get a hands-on look at the difficulties of photographing live musicians and learn new techniques to combat these. You will also be able to take prints of your images home!

Peter Neill is a prominent figure in the music photography industry, and specialises in working with bands in all settings be it at the back of the tour bus, in the studio, or on the stage. His clients include Queen, Justin Timberlake, The Script, U2, Rick Astley, Elbow, Will.i.am, and many more. Born in Ireland, Peter currently resides in London.
