About the expert
Carrie Davenport is a freelance photographer based in Belfast. She first started shooting gigs 20 years ago when stage fright (and lack of musical talent) meant she photographed a friend’s band rather than join them onstage. In the time since, she has shot for magazines such as Kerrang! and Hot Press; covered festivals from SXSW to Bilbao BBK; and regularly shoots gigs for Getty Images and the BBC. She enjoys working with local bands as well as touring musicians, and enjoys listening to a huge variety of music.
