Join critically acclaimed, award winning artist Laura Pannack, for an evening talking about her career to date.
Laura will discuss her photographic practice, which explores portraiture and social documentary photography. She will talk about the importance of patience and long term connections, and go on to discuss her editing and formatting techniques.
Laura’s work showcases a variation of people and places across the UK. Her projects portray truth, time, trust and understanding. Her work has received by acclaim and won numerous awards, among which are the John Kobal Award, Juliet Margaret Cameron Award, Prix de la photogrpahie, World Press Photo and the Vic Odden Award.
Laura Pannack is a London-based photographer. Renowned for her portraiture and social documentary artwork, she seeks to explore the complex relationship between subject and photographer. Pannack’s work has been extensively exhibited and published worldwide, including at The National Portrait Gallery, Somerset House, The Royal Festival Hall and the Houses of Parliament.
