10.30am-11.30am - Film for magazine - Seminar from Graham Tait.
First of all, we'll have editor and photographer of North Skate Mag, Graham Tait, delivering a talk all about his journey as a film photographer to the editor of a world renowned magazine, which features only photographs taken on film. More on that to be announced.
12.30pm-2pm - Choosing and Processing B&W Film - Seminar from Ilford's David Abberley.
With film photography increasing in popularity, David Abberley from ILFORD PHOTO will introduce their range of ILFORD and Kentmere black & white films and run you through some of the key differences and considerations when it comes to choosing a film. He will then cover the technique and equipment for processing your own B&W films as well as the differences and benefits of different developers. With tips to get you started and a chance to practice some of the techniques, this is a great talk for anyone interested in film photography regardless of your experience level. He will then do a demonstration on processing film which you may be able get involved with! David will also be on hand throughout the day for any technical questions you may have about film, paper, chemicals and darkroom techniques.
