It is that time of year again where, here at Wex, we celebrate the female photographers we work with throughout the year by hosting one action-packed day in 13 locations all around the UK at the same time. Our Women in the Industry series features female photographers, videographers and editors covering all genres, showcasing the incredible work that they do and taking a step forward for equality.
Controlling or utilizing available light inclusive of the moon, a lamppost or a candle can impact working on location when it comes to your final images and the tone that you set. Light and shadow can alter the narrative, so being able to harness available, naturally occurring light, and utilise your gear can enhance your work dramatically.
On this workshop, you will learn how use available light sources alongside learning tips and tricks from Wex Photo Video’s very own technical guru, Amy Moore; working in low light situations and studying how best to cope when working with changing lights and environments.
Having traveled extensively for her work with Wex Photo Video, and being a keen photographer and videographer in everyday life, Amy has developed a huge appreciation for light.
Often working in challenging environments, with and without perfect/controllable lighting, Amy has learned the best techniques for making the most out of a situation. Join her on September 28th as she talks through her experiences and shows you how to get the best out of your camera.
