Commercial food and product photography | A masterclass with White Cloud Photographic
Friday 20th December, 12:00pm - 4:00pm
In a growing industry of consumables and endless products for your household, commercial photography has developed into a booming business; becoming a demanding market and keeping us on our toes as photographers. Learning new photographic trends is essential when creating content to advertise and commercialise new products. Wex has partnered with White Cloud Photographic for a unique, practical masterclass focused on teaching you the best way to light, style and compose images for commercial food and product photography; whilst maintaining enough empty image space for publishing in magazine articles.
You will have the opportunity to capture images in the style of a photographer and editor, learning the process of working for a large company; and what it entails to fulfill the brief given.
Fergus Jordan is a Glasgow based photographer working with high-profile clients in the product and food sector of commercial advertisement. Clients include Diageo, Irish Distillers, Blackwater Distillery, and Guinness.
Dr. Fergus Jordan is an internationally recognised artist and has exhibited his artwork throughout Europe and the United States. With a Ph.D in photographic practice and deep commercial experience gained at one of Ireland’s leading studios; Fergus launched White Cloud in 2015 to specailise in photography for the consumables industry.
