Sanjay Jogia

Sanjay Jogia

Sanjay Jogia of Eye Jogia Photography is an Internationally Acclaimed Award-Winning Wedding Photographer based in historic Harrow-On-The-Hill in Greater London, England.  Known for being highly creative and a technical perfectionist, he travels the world as a Photographer, Educator, Mentor, Judge and Brand Ambassador.
Sanjay has the huge honour of being a Canon Ambassador in addition to other global brands including X-Rite, Tether Tools, Fundy Software and Loupedeck.

He has been featured as one of the 6 Best Wedding Photographers in the World by Professional Photographer Magazine and has photographed some of the most luxurious weddings across Europe, India, Africa and the United States over the past decade making him one of the most sought-after wedding photographers with a social media following of over 100,000 followers.

Sanjay is a Fellow of the SWPP, and a Judge for the SWPP & WPPI at the Annual 20x16 Print Competitions. He has earned over 70 awards in only four years of entering the SWPP and WPPI Annual 20x16 Print Competitions (including a category 2ndplace in 2017, 3rdplace in 2018 & 2019).
Sanjay’s love of photography started when he was in school with his dads Canon AE-1 SLR camera and grew up within a culture of photography whilst his dad worked at the local Kodak factory for 35 years (where Sanjay also worked as a student manufacturing 35mm film).

A combination of this photographic environment, his creative curiosity and his own ‘inner geek’ means he began developing his own style and approach from a young age.
Sanjay studied Architecture at the University of Bath in England and used his love of photography for his architectural presentations, and having qualified as an Architect, he believes that there are many parallels between his Photography and his Architectural training - for example; light, composition, space, aesthetics, surface, texture creativity are all key elements to both disciplines.

His wedding portrait images are a blend of fashion and movie inspired imagery using beauty lighting and posing techniques; he then balances this with a sensitive, observant almost portrait-like documentary approach for the natural fleeting moments.

Sanjay loves to teach and to create that ‘Eureka’ moment with his students whether it’s at one of his limited and exclusive group workshops, or at the various seminars and conventions that he is invited to speak at globally like the WPPI or the SWPP, or his private ‘One-on-One’ workshops that he runs at the Eye Jogia Showroom; either way he feels a duty to help protect and shape the future of our industry.
