BEYOND MOVEMENT with the DJI RONIN 2 is an interactive workshop to teach camera operators and cinematographers how to get the best out the latest and most advanced 3-Axis gimbal system from DJI, giving you the confidence and knowledge to shoot production value-enhancing shots with smooth movement on your next job or production.

Taking place at The Nest’s creative workspace and next doors Cherry Duck Studios, this day will give attendees hands-on experience with the gimbals and how to set them up, third-party support kit, Super 35mm camcorders from Canon and Sony, the latest Small HD and Teradek kit, and remote follow focus systems.

Alberto Balazs

Alberto Balazs

Alberto Balazs was born in Buenos Aires and graduated from ESCAC (Barcelona), with an MA in Cinematography.  He is based in London and works in Europe and Latin America.

In 2012 was selected at the Berlinale Talent Campus, with the film Inner Valley. This film has been shown internationally and was premiered at the IFFR in Rotterdam, and won the Excellence Award at Busan International Film Festival.


In 2016,  “Body Rites Dance” was commissioned by the ICA in London and Channel 4, and was shown at the BFI and Nowness

In 2017 he made his first Feature Film “Piedra Sola” directed by Alejandro Tarraf, with the Support INCAA, the Biennale of Young Artists, and the Argentine Film Commission.
