This workshop is designed for people who are total beginners.
The course will start with an indoor lesson from 10 am until 12 noon. During that time we will learn all about your camera’s functions.
You will learn how to shoot in manual mode using ISO, aperture, and shutter speed settings. We will then have a short practical session before breaking for lunch.
When we return, we’ll move on to composition, how to read an image, and how tell a story with your photography.
The rest of the afternoon will focus on putting your new skills into practice.
There is an optional Day 2 which costs a further £99, please get in touch if you are interested:
The second day of the course will be packed with practical photography.
We will put the previous day’s tuition into practice and then look at some slightly more advanced techniques utilising the waterfall and river in the forest.
We will consider portraiture, capturing people in natural and posed images.
The day will end with a re-cap of what you have learnt over the 2 days and you will be shown some examples of how Photoshop can help transform your images from beautiful to stunning.
The course will be taught at your own pace; nothing is rushed and all terms used will be understandable and easy to remember.
You will have plenty of time to take beautiful images of the Hall and gardens before moving indoors to the majestic 14th century hall and chapel for more photography in the themed rooms.
Please note that walking and kneeling in outdoor areas is likely on this course.
