In this interactive session, Wex’s Technical Editor for professional video, Kriss Hampton, will run though the fundamental basics to getting started with shooting video on Mirrorless cameras. It’s a session that has been designed for those who are just starting out on their filmmaking journey and who are looking to get a solid foundation of the technicalities involved when shooting on these types of cameras.
Whether you’ve never picked up a camera before, or you’re a photography enthusiast looking to venture into video, this is an intimate session that holds no judgement, breaks down the jargon, and should leave you feeling confident in your approach for your next shoot.
What will be covered:
Feel free to bring along your own camera along to the session, however, it’s not a problem if you don’t as this session will be mainly seminar/discussion led - Kriss will also have his mirrorless cameras setup for you to try.
Kristian Hampton is Wex Photo Video’s Technical Editor for Pro Video, reviewing and creating content on the latest filmmaking gear. He’s a video specialist who has worked in corporate studios for companies such as Vodafone Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as a freelance grip on TV productions and features.
